One of the stores that I frequently visit is the Green Daun. Over the past 2-3 years, I’ve found myself gravitating towards their inviting space, often engaging in delightful conversations. During this time, they have been witnesses to my incredible journey of shedding negativity from my friend circles and nurturing my emotional well-being.
The founders of Green Daun, Janice and David, bring their unique stories to this enchanting place. Originally hailing from Melaka, Janice now calls Kuala Lumpur home. With her remarkable gift, she can perceive auras and even offers tarot reading appointments. David, on the other hand, is an avid traveler and seasoned blogger from the heyday of Malaysia’s blogging era. He continues to share his adventures through captivating blog posts. Together, Janice and David radiate a beautiful spiritual essence, always ready to share their profound insights whenever the need arises.
Green Daun initially found its home in a shop lot near the Curve or Ikea Damansara. However, in late 2022, they made the exciting decision to relocate to their new dream space. The new premises are thoughtfully designed, with the first floor dedicated to retail operations, while the upper floors serve as their personal living space. This move represents a significant milestone for Green Daun, as they create a harmonious balance between their business and personal life in their newfound sanctuary.
What do they sell
In their ever-expanding inventory, Green Daun takes pride in offering essential products aligned with the fundamental principles of the new age (pagan) movement.
Step into their store, and you’ll discover a treasure trove of items carefully curated to meet your needs. They offer an array of enchanting products such as tarot and oracle card decks, soothing soaps, aromatic bath salts, energizing oils, captivating incense, mystical cauldrons, exquisite burners, delicate abalone shells, and an assortment of feathers including those of eagles, owls, and turkeys. Additionally, their collection includes an extensive range of candles, spanning from chime and pillar to 7-day candles, and so much more.
While the incense emanates an India-esque aroma, featuring popular brands like HEM and 7Chakra, the smudging tools lean towards the Pagan aesthetic. Green Daun offers an impressive selection, including palo santo, white sage, various types of sage, rosemary, fragrant rose petals, St. John’s Wort, hyssop, yerba santa, sacred sweetgrass, mystical blue lotus, and an assortment of resins such as black copal, golden siam benzoin, pontifical, three kings, seven archangel, dragon blood, frankincense, myrrh, and many more. Moreover, they even have black lava salt and other intriguing items that are sure to captivate your senses.
Green Daun has a well-stocked bookshelf, brimming with an extensive collection of tarot and oracle decks. Prepare to be amazed as you peruse their extensive collection, which may include special and uncommon stones that you may not have encountered in other stores. Moreover, Green Daun offers an array of crystal forms, ranging from crystal balls, points, and towers to chips and chunks, ensuring there’s something to suit every crystal enthusiast’s preference.
If you’re in search of exceptionally rare crystals, simply reach out to the couple at Green Daun, and they will be more than happy to assist you. It was at Green Daun that I acquired my first Moldavite, and they also carry other remarkable tektites such as Lemurian Glass and Cintamani. Keep your eyes peeled, as you may even stumble upon elusive stones like Larimar. In the box case brimming with bracelets, you’ll also find special stones like green kyanites and more, offering a touch of uniqueness and charm to your crystal collection.

In addition to their exquisite singing bowls, Janice offers predictive reading sessions on Thursdays. To avail yourself of this opportunity, it is advisable to make an appointment in advance, allowing you to secure a time slot for your visit and receive a personalized reading experience tailored to your specific queries and interests.
So far, I haven’t met a store that sells Pagan usable items as much as they do, which is why I often visit them. The majority of their inventory is sourced from various countries, including the USA, Peru, Nepal, and more, ensuring a diverse range of high-quality offerings. While you can explore their selection on their Shopee website, it’s worth noting that the online inventory may not be as extensive as what you’ll find in their physical store, which is a treasure trove of mystical delights.
While it would be tempting to keep this hidden gem to myself, I recognize the value of sharing their presence with others.
