Hong Kong is a bustling city full of energy, but within its busy streets, you’ll find hidden sanctuaries dedicated to spirituality and holistic well-being. For crystal lovers and spiritual seekers alike, Hong Kong offers an eclectic mix of shops that cater to both aesthetic beauty and deep spiritual practices. This curated itinerary will take you on a crystal shopping journey through some of the best spots in the city, each with its unique vibe and offerings.
Slowood: Sustainable Living Meets Spirituality
A visit to Slowood is perfect for the eco-conscious spiritual shopper. This zero-waste, sustainable store carries an impressive range of products, including incense, smudge sticks, and candles from global brands like Sagrada Madre, P.F. Candle Co., and Ecodis. Slowood is a haven for those seeking to live more harmoniously with the earth, offering items that enhance both your spiritual practice and your home’s ambiance. Nelles Gems: Moroccan-Inspired Crystal Paradise
We start our journey with Nelles Gems, a Moroccan-themed crystal shop that is as visually stunning as it is well-stocked with beautiful crystal pieces. This Instagram-worthy shop specializes in offering a wide range of crystals, from delicate jewelry to large statement pieces. Whether you’re looking for a small pocket-sized crystal for daily use or a giant, eye-catching centerpiece for your home, Nelles Gems has something for every crystal lover.
While they do not offer spiritual services, their extensive collection of crystals and the beautiful Moroccan-inspired decor make it a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the natural beauty of stones. Be prepared for a bit of a trek, though, as the journey to Nelles Gems is an uphill adventure. Walking from the nearest train station can be exhausting due to the steep incline. Although you can opt for a car, even that requires navigating the narrow hill to reach the shop. If walking, make sure to stop at the right street to avoid a steep climb.

Purple Moon: A Missed Opportunity
One stop I was really looking forward to was Purple Moon, which is known for its unique and more occult-focused offerings. However, my timing couldn’t have been worse. I visited the shop on the 13th of September, only to find that they were closed. Purple Moon usually closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and just a day before, on September 12th, they had announced they would be traveling until the 20th of September. So, unfortunately, I missed out on visiting this fascinating spot, but I’ll definitely be back once they return!
